Growth opportunities Casual work attire On-the-job training We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Campground Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our campground facility Grants, New Mexico KOA.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.
The Campground Office Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including reservations, office management, cleaning supervision, kitchen support, supply ordering, and staff management.

Responsibilities:
Reservation Duties:
Receive and process campground reservations via phone, email, or in-person.
Maintain an organized reservation system and update it as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
Office Duties:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the campground office.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
Maintain accurate records of guest information, payments, and other relevant data.
Assist with financial transactions, including cash handling and maintaining petty cash.
Cleaning Duties:
Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure the campground facilities are kept clean and well-maintained.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Address any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
Kitchen Support:
Provide assistance to the kitchen staff as needed, including taking orders, serving customers, and preparing food items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Supply and Merchandise Ordering:
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary, ensuring an adequate stock of essential items.
Source and procure merchandise to be sold in the campground store, maintaining a diverse and appealing inventory.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise campground staff, including cleaning staff, kitchen staff, and other employees.
Schedule staff shifts, assign duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
Community Engagement:
Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, providing information about local attractions, activities, and events.
Foster relationships with the local community and seek opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
Encourage staff to engage with the local community and promote the campground as a valuable community resource.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Previous experience in a similar role, such as office management, hospitality management, or campground management.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Proficiency in computer systems and reservation software.
Basic knowledge of financial management and bookkeeping principles.
Familiarity with campground operations and hospitality industry practices.
Knowledge of the local area and a passion for sharing information about the community.
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
