Why does the job exist? Position will assist the Records Supervisor in logging and tracking all inmate release dates.
How does it get done? Utilize various computer software applications Handle hard copies of inmate files Who are the customers? New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) Ideal Candidate Experience in the following:
Microsoft Suite Records management Inmate Classification process Minimum Qualification High School Diploma or Equivalent and six (6) months of work experience in customer service, records management techniques and procedures.

Education Experience 1 High School Diploma or Equivalent AND # of months or years of experience specified in the minimum qualification 2 Associate's Degree AND Zero years of experience o Education and years of experience must be related to the purpose of the position.
o If Minimum Qualification requires a specific number of semester hours in a field (e.
g.
6 semester hours in Accounting), applicants MUST have those semester hours in order to meet the minimum qualifications.
